Played by a serviceable Dylan O’Brien, Thomas reaches the end of his journey in “The Maze Runner: The Death Cure,” a hard-hitting finale to an unusually intense young-adult franchise. PLOT In a virus-plagued world, a group of teenagers must break into a fortress to find a potential cure.ĬAST Dylan O’Brien, Kaya Scodelario, Patricia ClarksonīOTTOM LINE The tweener franchise comes to a thrilling but very violent end.
